I come from a family of healers, and I take pride in the amazing work that my mother and grandmother have done as a nurse and social worker. I followed in their footsteps and obtained my Bachelor of Social Work and my Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.

A particular passion of mine, present throughout my life, has been fostering healthy relationships. I have served in multiple roles within mental health, including crisis management, inpatient psychiatry, and therapy. In every context, one thing continues to ring true- your relationship to yourself is the foundation to your relationship with others. Therapy can provide a safe space to be curious about this relationship and learn tools to create change.

I hope to serve as a guide and companion in navigating the difficult parts of being human, to find a way of life that truly honors your most authentic self. I feel most authentically me when I’m spending time in the sun, exercising, and seeing my favorite bands in concert!

As Ryan O’Neal, from the band Sleeping At Last, writes in his song about the enneagram type 9: “To know and love ourselves and others well is the most difficult and meaningful work we’ll ever do.”
