Jessie Taylor graduated from Texas State University with her undergrad in Social Work and went on to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland to earn her Master’s degree. She is an LCSW in the state of Texas and enjoys working with people to overcome life’s challenges, whatever they may be. Jessie has experience working with people in acute mental health situations and specializes in crisis management, depression, anxiety, illness, grief, loss, trauma, relationship issues, and sexual assault and rape survivors. Jessie recognizes that underneath the depression, anxiety and trauma there is a well within you of resilience and strength.

There is not just one path to wellness. Jessie wants to help you discover yours. Jessie utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions in this work, and continues to grow her skill set through research and ongoing education. Her professional goal is to offer clients the best intervention and therapy for their unique experiences, personalities, and needs.

Jessie strives to provide culturally sensitive practice to minority populations including the LGBTQ community as well as POC. Her desire is to provide a safe and healing space for everyone to explore their experiences and emotions.
