Psychiatric Medical Evaluation, Prescribing and On-site Medical Monitoring by Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This series is designed to be accessible to helping professionals and is offered at cost. The purpose of this is to give back to the mental health community and support making KAP accessible to people who will in-turn have first hand experience with this powerful therapy and be better able to educate clients about its effectiveness and clinical appropriateness.

This group experience requires a medical evaluation and clearance prior to participation. Costs for the medical evaluation will vary based on health insurance coverage. Participants who have already participated in previous KAP Groups at Moonstone are not required for re-evaluation, unless specified by the provider.

By completing this initial inquiry form, you are indicating you are interested and able to participate in this cohort. We will follow up for more details and to gather more information. Please note that on KAP group days, you will not be able to drive and will need to make arrangements for a ride home. Preparation and Integration sessions will occur virtually and members are expected to attend.

A 4 month commitment to the group is required. If one month is missed, a $200 fee will apply that month. Members are expected to participate in prep and integration sessions.

Medical Evaluation for KAP

Participation requires a medical evaluation by Sol Psychiatry. If you have insurance, the medical evaluation may be covered. Please note the cost of the workshop does not include the medical evaluation fee.

Disclaimer: Moonstone Counseling, PLLC does not prescribe ketamine medication and is not a ketamine clinic. All patients interested in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy will be referred to an outside medical prescriber who will assess their suitability for this treatment. The medical prescriber has the final authority to determine if ketamine is an appropriate treatment option for the patient. Moonstone Counseling provides therapeutic support in conjunction with ketamine treatment, but the decision to prescribe ketamine is made solely by the external medical provider.
