Specialties: EMDR Therapy, Trauma, Anger & Stress Management, Social Injustice, Anxiety, Life Transitions, and Depression.

If you have found my page, it is not because you stumbled upon it but because you have made an intentional and courageous step towards change. Give yourself a little credit for making it this far! I believe it takes an incredible amount of courage to share your story, and I am here to listen with a compassionate and non-judgmental ear.

I enjoy working with adults and young adults and am passionate about working with individuals with a therapeutic approach that emphasizes authenticity, genuineness, and transparency. I also have experience working with adolescents and adults involved in the criminal justice system. Individuals I work with may be seeking therapy for issues related to anger management, trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment problems, societal injustices, and systemic barriers.

My style is client-centered, meaning nobody knows you better than you, and I will honor that every step of the way. When it comes to therapy, you do the work, you set the goals, and I am here to support you and facilitate the process. I recognize that people are different, and I am flexible in adjusting my approach to meet your needs. Everyone is unique in their own experiences, culture, background, and contexts which are always considered throughout the therapeutic journey that we will explore together.

A little about me: I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Texas State University and my Masters in Counseling from Adler University in Chicago. I find it comforting and beautiful to create, which is why I spend most of my leisure time crocheting, embroidering, or anything art related. I love some romance or historical fiction books. I also get pretty competitive on co-ed softball or volleyball teams. Lastly, I am a mother of pugs.

If you believe we could be a good fit, reach out, I’ll reach back.
