Hi and welcome! My name is Stephanie (She/Her), I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I’m so glad you’re here. My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, collaboration and empathy. I believe therapy is a place for healing, change and growth and that this happens most deeply within the context of a safe and supportive environment. As a therapist, I aim to create safety by focusing on the therapeutic relationship and seeing every client as the whole person they are, not just what brings them to therapy.

I believe in the importance of gaining concrete tools to utilize in everyday life to get you closer to where you want to be. I also believe it’s important to take time to explore what is going on beneath the surface to gain greater awareness, understanding and ultimately bring about more healing. I utilize approaches from mindfulness, CBT, DBT, attachment theory, parts work and can also provide guidance to help strengthen the mind/body connection.

I work best with adults and teens who are experiencing people-pleasing tendencies, depression or low mood, chronic stress, trauma, anxiety, self-harm, relational conflict, or life transitions. Together, we can explore thoughts and behavioral patterns, learn to identify and process emotions, challenge unhelpful self-beliefs, and process past experiences and pain that can weigh so heavily at times. These are not things I expect to happen in the first session, but will gently unfold throughout our time together in a way that fits your process and goals. My hope is that our sessions are a place for you to safely explore, build resiliency and create a deeper connection with your authentic self.

Outside of work you can find me hanging out with my wild pup named Hank, spending time with my family, enjoying food or coffee, being in nature, exercising, listening to music or watching a comedy series.
