My therapeutic focus is on helping clients build upon their strengths and find a sense of ease in their own being. I believe that we all have an innate ability to create a peaceful and fulfilling life for ourselves through an intentional cultivation of mindful self-compassion.

I serve adults aged 18 and up. I work with clients experiencing substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, borderline personality traits, anger management, grief and loss and more. I will help you develop mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Therapy is highly individualized. You are in charge of your therapeutic process. You will set the goals for, and the pace of, your work. I will provide support, positive feedback, and suggest strategies to help you reach your desired outcomes.

Everyone experiences difficult emotions from time to time, it’s ok to not be ok. It is admirable to seek help when needed. I am so glad you have taken this first step towards reaching out. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your healing journey.

About me: I have an MSSW from the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas. I also have a BA in history from UT, and associates degrees in Latin and culinary arts from ACC. I grew up in San Antonio and moved to Austin as a teen. I love to cook, read, listen to music, and take care of my plants.
